Working With Children

The safety and wellbeing of all Club members is of upmost importance.    The PHSTKHC Working With Children Policy has been established to help ensure that the Club meets it obligations with respect to the Working with Children Act.

The Policy establishes who must have a current WWCC in order to perform certain Club activities, and the WWCC Register lists persons who have a WWCC. generally if you work with persons under 18 e.g. coach, team manager etc, you will need a WWCC to perform those duties.

If you need to get your WWCC please complete the following steps:

STEP 1:  Apply for your free VOLUNTEER Working With Children Check (WWCC) at: www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/

STEP 2:  Once you have received your WWCC details, register your details in your RevSport profile, by logging on and updating your WWCC details under the Communication/Information section of your member profile.

You will need to enter your WWCC number, and your WWCC expiry date.

Any queries with regards to the WWCC Register should be made to the Secretary.

Child Safety Standards

The Club fully supports a culture, policies, and practices to help ensure the safety of children and protect them from abuse.  Help us foster a Club culture that protects our children from abuse. Please:

1. Watch the An Overview of Victoria's Child Safe Standards (youtube.com) video, and encourage others to actively protect all children at the Club.

2. Read and share the Child Safety Information Sheet to children at the Club, so children's rights are known to all.

3. Read the Club's Child Safety policy for more information.
